The torch body is made from 8mm aluminium. The 8mm tube design allows for slightly more wick material which creates a longer burn time. It also makes them handle more elegantly and feel less clunky in the hands.
Our wicks are made from high temperature, high density 100% para-aramid fibre and are secured by two rivets prior to being wrapped and hand sewn to ensure it stays where it should! There are absolutely no exposed fasteners which makes these wicks safe to put in your mouth.
Measurements
The overall length of the torches is approximately 64cm. After much experimentation, we have found this to be the ideal length for double ended fire eating torches.
The wicks are 50mm (2 inches) long and approximately 25mm (1 inch) wide. This is the typical standard for professional fire eating torches.
Please be aware that while we aim to stick to these dimensions, our torches may vary in size (ever so slightly) as they are hand-made.
Features
All of our hollow torches are designed and hand-crafted by us! They are perfectly suited for vapor manipulation due to the four strategically placed holes under each wick.
We take great pride in the quality of the finish on our torches. From our hand sewn wicks, to our smoothed and polished torch ends!
