With our hand crafted hollow torches
After a lot of testing, we feel like we have created the perfect design for lightweight, effective and great value fire eating sticks! Our torch bodies are made from 8mm aluminium tubing which makes for a smooth and elegant feeling prop. The torch head is made from high temperature, high density 100% para-aramid fibre wicking material which is hand sewn with no exposed fasteners to ensure they are safe to put in your mouth!

Fire In Your Face is proud to offer our new range of fully customized hollow torches! These bespoke torches feature a silicone wrapped body for extra grip, style and of course, heat resistance! At their heart, our custom wands are the same as our standard ones (hey, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!) and provide you with all you need from a solid fire eating torch with a great vapor draw.
Within our custom torch building software, you will be able to choose from 11 different colors for each individual part of the wrap. This gives you TENS of MILLIONS of different possible color combinations making your new torches truly unique to you!
Once you’ve designed your perfect torches, we will carefully hand wrap them to your exact specification (typically 3 – 5 days).
The torch body is made from 8mm aluminium. The 8mm tube design allows for slightly more wick material which creates a longer burn time. It also makes them handle more elegantly and feel less clunky in the hands.
Wrapped around the body of the torch, is our new, heat resistant silicone tape that is available in 11 different colors! This provides you with more grip with a stylish look.
Our wicks are made from high temperature, high density 100% para-aramid fibre and are secured by two rivets prior to being wrapped and hand sewn to ensure it stays where it should! There are absolutely no exposed fasteners which makes these wicks safe to put in your mouth.
The overall length of the torches is approximately 51cm. After much experimentation, we have found this to be the ideal length for fire eating torches.
The wicks are 50mm (2 inches) long and approximately 25mm (1 inch) wide. This is the typical standard for professional fire eating torches. We believe it is also easier, and safer to eat fire with this sized wick than other smaller sized wicks.
Please be aware that while we aim to stick to these dimensions, our torches may vary in size (ever so slightly) as they are hand-made.
